With mail automation and programmatic printing, FM+M offers two powerful processes for personalisation and optimising your marketing campaigns.
What’s more, we enable our customers to use intelligent print & letter shop workflows to optimise their campaign management. We can also integrate your CRM system in these processes on request. This improves the efficiency and speed of campaign commissioning and enables detailed status monitoring.

In the area of print and letter shop services, marketing departments are increasingly relying on personalised mailings with small print runs. This is a particularly efficient method of using variable images and messages to address customers who have abandoned their carts or in other scenarios.

Programmatic printing
Programmatic printing is used to personalise printed products for specific recipients. This touches their emotions and includes content that interests and appeals to them.

Mail automation
Mail automation refers to information that is sent automatically to the recipient by post. Postcards or mailings with personalised messages can therefore be sent to prospective customers who have abandoned their carts during the order process.

Print and letter shops frequently use ink jet processes as a proven method to label complex mailings and serial letters.

Let’s start with the basics: Ink jet printers use droplets of ink to create a printed image. Only the drops touch the surface, so the method can also be used to print on uneven or sensitive materials.

At FM+M, we use two UV systems with two 108 mm print heads each. Address windows are not necessary thanks to UV fixing. What’s more, we can print addresses on virtually any surface – even plastic cards (up to 600 dpi).

And that’s not all: Our systems are equipped for Read & Print and can therefore be integrated as modules, even in more complex mailing lines. We are also able to handle duplex addressing on your behalf.

During enveloping, Fulfillment Mail + Marketing assembles the individual components ready for dispatch, usually including the cover letter and envelope.

To produce a postal mailing, we generally fold the personalised cover letters and insert them into envelopes.

We can offer a wide variety of options in this area: For instance, we place the requested components into envelopes in formats from C6 to B4. Overall, an enveloped mailing can consist of up to six components. We also provide professional camera alignment and Read & Print as optional services.

Another advantage: Our seven enveloping machines ensure rapid processing of your requests and therefore particularly fast dispatch.

In addition, our proven closed-loop process provides a particularly secure solution for enveloping and sending out bank statements or similar documents. This applies equally to components that require particularly audit-proof processing.

We also offer film wrapping as an alternative to mailing in envelopes. This ideally protects contents such as catalogues, brochures or magazines from the elements, while the film creates a transparent look

Many of our films can also act as shrink wrapping, which makes them hug the contents and improves the stiffness. Your mailings are therefore ideally prepared for transport. The machinery on our enveloping line can wrap up to five components in film. In-line dispensing or labelling is also possible.

You want to attach a product or sample to a carrier? A mailing line is assembled to handle these scenarios.

On these mailing lines, special folds or precise glue points are used to apply or insert the relevant products into the self-mailer. Fulfillment Mail + Marketing uses its own pick & place feeders to execute your wishes in the mailing line. We can also handle in-line address printing.

Print finishing from Fulfillment Mail + Marketing adds special visual effects to the printed product. This creates a particularly premium look and improves protection against damage.

In other words: Your products become genuine highlights with a very special look & feel. We use spot varnish, partial UV varnish, 3D varnish, coloured foils and conventional lamination for this purpose. Our clients can benefit from these services as optional extras for personalised print products and mailings.

Also noteworthy: Our integrated smart camera monitoring achieves 100% positioning accuracy in this process – continuously.

Punching describes the process of cutting both simple and complex shapes out of a usually flat material. In conventional punching, the punch has specially shaped cutting edges which are pressed into the paper or cardboard during the process. Extremely elaborate shapes are also possible. Please note: Fulfillment Mail + Marketing punches your products entirely according to your wishes.

In the mailing, for instance a postcard, the prospect receives an image of the product they have not yet purchased and the abandoned cart.

As a recognised print shop for personalisation, we offer our customers perfectly coordinated fulfilment services that extend from storage to dispatch and include laser printing and personalisation. Mailing service and self-mailers: The expected postage costs for mailings are a significant factor for print & letter shops. Fulfillment Mail + Marketing offers professional optimisation of potential postage costs.

Changing format or paper grade are good ways to minimise postage costs. We provide personal advice to draw your attention to possible savings, but the final decision is yours as the client.

Fulfillment Mail + Marketing then identifies the most favourable postage rate for the specific mailing or product. To do so, we use special software that is designed to maximise relevant discounts. It is also worth noting that we can use alternative delivery services and not just Deutsche Post.

We use our booklet finisher to process all products that also require binding. Brochures, self-mailers, leaflets, coupon booklets etc.

Everything is possible, from small formats to finished products in A4. A camera is used to match fully personalised components (envelope + contents) in the saddle stitcher. Naturally, we also process pure offset preprints or hybrid solutions in which the cover is personalised and the content is static.

Self-mailers with flap are trimmed on just 2 sides and sealed in a mailing line at the end of the saddle stitcher using a plough fold and fugitive glue. Our minimum print run for saddle stitching? Single-unit print runs up to a daily capacity of 35,000 A4 copies or 70,000 in A5 format or smaller. These formats are then stitched and trimmed 2-up. We look forward to receiving your enquiry!
