Programmatic printing describes an automated method in the print sector that enables personalisation to address specific recipients. Ultimately, they receive a print product that is completely tailored to their interests.
Mail automation
In marketing, mail automation describes a process in which information is sent automatically to the recipients. This takes place by post, unlike with automated emails. Mail automation is used, for instance, to send a personalised message by post to customers who have abandoned a cart during the order process.
In the proven ink jet printing process, small drops of ink are applied to the surface to create the printed image.
Only the drops touch the surface, so the method can also be used to print on uneven or sensitive materials. Ink jet methods are frequently used in the tourism sector to print complex mailings and also circulars.
From a technical perspective, we use two UV systems with two 108 mm print heads each. Address windows or special paper grades are not required due to UV fixing. We print addresses on virtually any surface and can therefore handle plastic cards as well (at up to 600 dpi).
Please note: The quality is similar to laser printing thanks to the excellent resolution. In addition, our systems are equipped for Read & Print, which can also be integrated into the mailing lines according to the requirements. Last but not least: We can also handle duplex address printing.
